Disappointment at institute end game spoilers last night i reached the endof fallout 4 siding with the institute i destroyed both the brotherhood of steel and the railroad and pretty much had little to no lasting effect on my relationship with the minutemen.

Easy go with the institute until after the announcement and eliminating both the rr and bos then get yourself banished do the mm.
As far as i know there are no loop quests for the institute.
I tryed that but even after going on a murder rampage i did not get the you got kicked out quest hmmm.
Bos companion belongs to the institute anyway.

The institute makes a small appearance in fallout 3 in the form of two of their members during the replicated man and the cit is mentioned in fallout.
Piper seems to be the only real companion who moans about it without actually knowing what the institute really does.

There should be unique stuff to buy too.

I realy enjoyed playing fallout ran to around 100 hours or so getting to that point where i finished the main story but still have plenty of side missions left to complete to add a significant length of time left to play in game.

Can you do all institute missions kill railroad and brotherhood but then when you are supposed to talk to father you kill someone in the institute and escape and then blow up the institute with the minutemen.
Railroad companion isn t a big loss and you would never recruit him as a follower anyway siding with the institute.
Other than that you have acces to the institute obviously and a snyth companion.
